Anyone who has turned onto a freeway has seen the numerous signs that tell people if they’re going the wrong way. Also, the roadway is often designed to make it hard to turn into the wrong lane. But if the driver is drunk, all these signs can be ignored. The result is a tragic head-on accident.
That’s what may have happened in this story reported by ABC 7. Two people died in a suspected DUI crash early this morning on the northbound 110 Freeway in LA. Several others were injured in the crash, including a young child. Three vehicles were involved.
