Channel 5, KTLA in Los Angeles, reports that a woman has died in Pamona after an SUV crashed into her home on Thursday, September 18th.

Officers from the Pamona Police Department were called to a home located on Colony Drive near Hamilton Boulevard at approximately 9:20 p.m. They, along with emergency crews from the Pamona Fire Department found a 59-year-old woman suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics attempted to treat the woman, but they were unable to save her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pamona officials have not released the woman’s identity pending notification of her family members.
Police investigators say that the driver of a Chrysler PT Cruiser had been driving at a high rate of speed when they lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the woman’s home.
Police have arrested 33-year-old Carmelino Ordonez of Pamona on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license.
