Three people are dead after a crash in Garden Grove last Friday. This crash ended with one of the vehicles, a white pickup truck, upside down and half-submerged in a pool, according to this report from NBC Los Angeles.
This crash started as something of a police chase. At around or just before 2 in the morning on Friday, a patrol vehicle spotted a Dodge RAM truck speeding in a parking lot and then entering a street at a high rate of speed. The police turned on their sirens and followed the truck. Shortly afterward, just after 2 a.m., the truck hit another vehicle, a car at Euclid Street and Orangewood Avenue. As a result of this crash, the truck ended up rolling and crashing into a residential pool, after crashing through a block wall that stood between the street and the pool itself.
The second car ended up on its side farther down the street.

Two people were inside the pickup truck, aged 34 and 28. They both died inside the truck, according to police. One person was inside the car that was hit, a 39-year-old man. He was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center for treatment, but he later died at the hospital because of his injuries. Thankfully, because it was at such an odd hour, no one was in the pool or backyard at the time of this horrific accident.
