When a passenger vehicle gets into an accident with a commercial truck, it’s usually the smaller vehicle that gets the most damage and the people inside that are more seriously hurt.
Noozhawk of Santa Barbara reported on its website that such a crash happened along Highway 154 near San Marcos Pass on Thursday and sent three people to the hospital.
Fire Captain Daniel Bertucelli with the Santa Barbara County Fire Department told Noozhawk’s Tom Bolton that the “high-speed crash” between a sedan and a flatbed truck happened at approximately 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 154 and Paradise Road.
